On Wednesday the 6th of April at 10:00 CET (9am UK) it's time to get packing - the closed beta for the latest chapter of Runes of Magic is on its way! You can explore the 'Lands of Despair' to your heart's content until the 29th of April at 11:00 (10am UK).
What to do if you're selected:
Those selected to take part in the beta test will receive a newsletter* today (5th of April) by email. The newsletter will contain a link to the client, the installation steps, login data, and an email address for you to send feedback to. Once you log into the beta server you'll find a copy of your main character already waiting for you.
The forum will also see some changes on Wednesday since we'll be opening a brand new section, the Closed Beta - Chapter IV Section. This is where players can share information and opinions on the new content and exchange screenshots and videos.
